How each alternative compares
JUSTHERO 20.3" Foldable Power Wheelchair
The JUSTHERO 20.3" Foldable Power Wheelchair keeps the same 350 lb weight capacity and 500W motor as the original. It targets heavy-duty travel with a longer range. You gain a larger 20.3" seat size for better comfort during extended trips. This model sacrifices some portability for that extra space and durability. It is ideal if you need a robust chair for frequent travel. The folding mechanism remains, but the larger frame takes more trunk space. Choose this if your priority is long-range comfort over ultra-light weight.
Goldseason 37 lb Foldable Electric Wheelchair
The Goldseason 37 lb Foldable Electric Wheelchair offers a similar 350 lb capacity and 500W motor. It weighs slightly more at 37 lbs compared to the original. This model provides a wider 25.2-inch seat width for users needing more room. It also includes a 15-mile range for daily travel. The added width makes it less compact for tight storage areas. You trade minimal weight for increased seating comfort. This option suits users who prioritize space and stability over the lightest possible frame. It is a practical choice for home use and travel.
ProTraverce 16" Lightweight Transport Chair
The ProTraverce 16" Lightweight Transport Chair weighs only 24.7 lbs, making it significantly lighter than the original 36 lb model. It maintains the 350 lb weight capacity, which is impressive for its class. However, it lacks a specified range and motor power in the data, suggesting it is designed for short trips. The 16-inch seat width is narrower, offering less space. This chair is best for users who need maximum portability and compact storage. It is not suitable for long outdoor ranges or users needing a wider seat. Pick this for easy lifting and travel convenience.
ZygenAir 16" Orange Electric Wheelchair
The ZygenAir 16" Orange Electric Wheelchair supports up to 330 lbs, which is 20 lbs less than the original. It features a 500W motor and a 15-mile range, matching the original specs. However, it weighs 52 lbs, making it much heavier and harder to lift. The 16-inch seat is narrower than the original. This model is for users who prioritize power and range over portability. The higher weight means it is less ideal for frequent lifting into vehicles. Choose this if you need a sturdy chair with good range and do not mind the extra weight.
WalkFeel 22-Inch Extra-Wide Power Chair
The WalkFeel 22-Inch Extra-Wide Power Chair offers a spacious 22-inch seat, significantly wider than the original. It supports 350 lbs and provides a 15-mile range with a 500W motor. The battery is removable, allowing for convenient charging without moving the chair. This feature is useful for users who cannot lift heavy batteries. The chair is larger and heavier, taking up more space. It is ideal for users needing extra width and easy battery access. You trade compactness for superior seating comfort and charging convenience. Select this if width and removable power are your top priorities.
SWIFTECO 15-Mile Power Wheelchair
The SWIFTECO 15-Mile Power Wheelchair provides a 500W motor and a 15-mile range, matching the original. It features a black finish, offering a different aesthetic option. The chair weighs 65 lbs, making it much heavier than the original 36 lb model. It has a width of 23.6 inches, providing a standard seat size. This model is for users who value power and capacity over lightweight portability. The heavier frame may be difficult to lift into vehicles.
