Who it fits

Key specs for this lift

Lifting Range: 2.9" to 19.7"

This range allows you to raise the seat from floor level to a standard chair height. You can use it to stand up safely from the ground or transition to a higher seat. Caregivers benefit from the reduced need to bend. Compare this vertical travel to other lift chairs to ensure it meets your specific mobility needs and room constraints.

Weight Capacity: 300 pounds

The device supports users up to 300 pounds. This limit ensures stability during the lifting process. You should check this number against your body weight plus any clothing or accessories. If you exceed this capacity, the motor may struggle or become unsafe. This is a standard limit for many portable assist devices.

Product Weight: 27.8 pounds

The unit weighs 27.8 pounds, making it manageable for most adults to move. The integrated wheels help you roll it across the floor without lifting it entirely. This weight is heavier than a simple cane but lighter than a full power wheelchair. Consider if you can comfortably maneuver this weight into your bathroom or living area.

Power Type: rechargeable battery

The device uses a rechargeable battery for the hand control, removing the need for a constant power cord connection. This offers flexibility in placement, as you are not tethered to a wall outlet. You can use it in various locations, such as different rooms or while traveling. Ensure you have access to a charging source to keep it ready.

Wheel Type: wheel design

The built-in wheels allow you to roll the lift chair into position rather than carrying it by hand. This feature saves effort for both the user and caregivers. You can easily reposition the device on hard floors or carpets. This design is distinct from stationary lifts that require permanent installation or heavy manual lifting for setup.

Design and Build Quality

The VOCIC Electric Chair Lift with Wheels is built for portability and ease of movement. The listing notes a user-friendly wheel design that eliminates the need to carry the unit by hand. You can move the lift chair position easily with the help of these wheels. This layout saves effort for caregivers and makes repositioning the device more comfortable for your family. The unit is colored blue and features a portable form factor, which supports its use for travel or in different rooms.

According to the listing, the lift adjusts from 2.9 inches to 19.7 inches in height. This range allows you to get up from the floor safely. The product weighs 27.8 pounds, which is manageable for transport when using the wheels. The base dimensions are 16.9 inches wide, 8.66 inches high, and 28 inches long. These measurements provide a stable footprint for various floor types. The device supports up to 300 pounds, accommodating a wide range of users.

The build includes enhanced waterproofing with a fully encased motor. The hand control uses a rechargeable battery, so use is not limited by a power cord. The lift features two types of suction cups to connect firmly to smooth surfaces like tiles or polished wood. It also works on carpets. The remote control connects via specially designed waterproof connections. This design ensures safe operation in bathrooms or other wet areas, extending the lift's utility beyond dry living spaces.

Setup And Daily Use Guide

Setting up this lift involves placing it on a smooth, hard surface. The unit uses two types of suction cups to connect firmly to the floor. You can use it on tiles, polished wood, or in bathrooms. It also works on carpets, though the suction mechanism is designed for hard surfaces. The device does not require permanent installation. You simply position it under your chair or seat.

Daily use relies on a rechargeable battery in the hand control. This eliminates the need for a power cord during operation. You control the lift height using the remote. The lifting range adjusts from 2.9 inches to 19.7 inches. This allows you to raise the seat from the ground to a comfortable standing height. The motor is fully encased and waterproof to IP68. You can submerge it in water for about 40 minutes without damage. This makes it safe for bathroom use or areas with high moisture.

Moving the unit is straightforward. The wheel design lets you roll it to the desired location. You do not need to carry the 27.8-pound weight by hand. This feature helps caregivers save effort. The device supports up to 300 pounds. It is suitable for seniors and individuals with muscle weakness. The blue model fits most standard chairs. You ensure the suction cups are clean and dry for best adhesion. Regular maintenance involves checking the battery charge and cleaning the wheels. The one-year service covers any functional issues.

Check These Before Buying

You need to ensure your floor surface is smooth and hard for the suction cups to grip effectively. While the unit works on carpets, stability is best on tiles or polished wood. The waterproof motor allows for bathroom use, but you must dry the area after cleaning to maintain suction. Store the rechargeable battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. This device is a standalone transfer aid, not a mobility scooter or power wheelchair. It does not replace seated transport. You will need a separate vehicle or wheelchair for travel. Check that your bathroom layout allows enough space for the 16.9-inch width. The lift assists with standing, not walking. Ensure you have a stable chair or bed nearby to transfer into after lifting. This product fits into your routine as a safety tool for floor transfers, complementing your existing mobility equipment rather than replacing it.

Check before you buy

• Verify your floor is smooth and hard for suction grip.
• Ensure bathroom space accommodates the 16.9-inch width.
• Confirm you have a stable chair for transfer.
• Check battery charging area is dry and cool.
