VEVOR vs Fachnuo Ramp Specs
Weight capacity
Both ramps support the same maximum load. The VEVOR 10FT Aluminum Portable Ramp holds up to 800 lbs. The Fachnuo 5ft Aluminum Travel Ramp also supports 800 lbs. This shared limit means you can use either for heavy electric wheelchairs or scooters without worry. Neither brand offers a higher limit in this specific model comparison. You do not need to choose one over the other based on strength alone. Both use aluminum alloy construction to handle this weight. The structural integrity is rated equally for standard mobility devices. This tie in capacity simplifies your decision if heavy loads are your primary concern.
Ramp length
Length determines how gentle the incline is. VEVOR offers a 10-foot ramp, which equals 120 inches. Fachnuo provides a 5-foot ramp, which equals 60 inches. A longer ramp creates a shallower slope. This makes it easier to push or drive up, especially for heavier devices. The 10-foot VEVOR model is better for higher curbs or steps. The 5-foot Fachnuo model is suitable for lower thresholds. If you frequently encounter higher obstacles, the VEVOR length is more versatile. For low steps, the shorter Fachnuo ramp is sufficient and easier to store.
Ramp weight
Portability depends heavily on how heavy the ramp is. The VEVOR 10FT model weighs 59.8 pounds. The Fachnuo 5ft model is significantly lighter at 29.9 pounds. You will find the Fachnuo ramp much easier to lift into a car trunk or carry up stairs. The VEVOR ramp is nearly twice as heavy due to its longer length and reinforced structure. If you need to move the ramp frequently or have limited strength, the Fachnuo weight is a clear advantage. The VEVOR weight is acceptable if you have assistance or do not move it often.
Rise range
Each ramp fits different step heights. VEVOR fits 10 to 20 inch doors and curbs. Fachnuo fits 5 to 15 inch steps. The VEVOR ramp handles higher obstacles better. You can use it for taller driveways or garage doors. The Fachnuo ramp is limited to lower heights. If you have a high curb, the VEVOR range is necessary. If you only have low porch steps, the Fachnuo range is adequate. The overlap is between 10 and 15 inches. In that middle zone, both work, but VEVOR offers more stability for the higher end of that range.
Color options
Visual appearance is a minor but visible difference. The VEVOR 10FT Aluminum Portable Ramp comes in Black. The Fachnuo 5ft Aluminum Travel Ramp is Silver. This choice depends on your aesthetic preference or the color of your vehicle and home. Black may hide dirt better but can get hotter in direct sun. Silver reflects light and may stay cooler. Both colors are standard for aluminum ramps. This does not affect performance or safety. Choose the color that blends best with your environment or personal taste. Neither color offers a functional advantage over the other.
Which ramp fits your needs
For high curbs and driveways
The VEVOR ramp reaches 10 feet long. This length accommodates rise ranges from 10 to 20 inches. You need this extra length to maintain a safe, gentle slope for higher garage or driveway curbs. The 800 lb capacity handles heavy power wheelchairs safely. It provides a stable path for higher obstacles where shorter ramps would be too steep.
For lighter home steps
The Fachnuo ramp is only 5 feet long. This shorter length suits rise ranges from 5 to 15 inches. It weighs just 29.9 pounds, making it much easier to carry than the heavier 10-foot model. You can store it easily in a car trunk. It is ideal for standard home steps where portability matters most.
For maximum portability
Weighing only 29.9 pounds, the Fachnuo ramp is significantly lighter than the VEVOR option. Its folded size is compact, fitting easily into most vehicle trunks. You can transport it with minimal effort. This makes it the better choice for frequent travel or if you need to move the ramp between locations often without strain.
