Who it fits
Good fit for
This wheelchair suits seniors and adults who prioritize portability and frequent travel. The lightweight 32-pound frame and quick-fold design make it ideal for users who regularly lift the chair into car trunks. The 220-pound weight capacity and 360W motor provide enough stability for daily errands and uneven terrain like grass or gravel. If you need a compact mobility aid that meets FAA battery standards for flying, this model fits your needs. The adjustable armrests and breathable seat also support comfort during shorter trips.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you require high-speed travel or long-distance range. The maximum speed of 3.75 MPH is slower than many standard wheelchairs, which may feel restrictive on busy sidewalks. The 12.5-mile range is modest, limiting extended outings without recharging. Additionally, the 16.5-inch seat width may not accommodate larger body types comfortably. If you need a chair for heavy daily use over long distances or require higher speed capabilities, this lightweight travel model is not the right fit for your lifestyle.
Verdict: The VERPAL K04 is a practical, portable choice for users who travel frequently and need a lightweight, foldable wheelchair. It excels in convenience and air-travel compliance but sacrifices speed and range for its compact design.
Key specs explained for you
Range: 12.5 miles
This limit defines how far you can travel on a single charge. It suits short daily errands or local park visits. You may need to plan routes around charging stations if you travel further. Compare this to larger scooters that offer longer distances. This range supports users who stay within a confined area for most of their day.
Max Speed: 3.75 MPH
This speed is ideal for sidewalks and indoor spaces. It allows you to navigate crowded areas safely without moving too fast. You should not expect highway speeds or rapid transit. This setting prioritizes control over velocity. It is well-suited for seniors or those who prefer a slower, more deliberate pace during their daily movements.
Seat Width: 16.5"
This measurement indicates the space available for your hips. It fits most average-sized adults comfortably. If you have broader hips, you should check if this width provides enough clearance. Compare this to wider models if you need extra room. This size supports users who prioritize a compact footprint for easy transport and storage.
Motor Power: 360W
This power rating helps the wheelchair handle inclines up to 12 degrees. It provides enough torque for grass, gravel, or uneven surfaces. You can trust this motor for light all-terrain use. Compare it to higher wattage motors for steep hills. This output is sufficient for daily mobility needs without excessive energy consumption.
Battery Type: 151Wh 6Ah lithium
This battery is FAA-compliant for air travel. You can bring it on planes without special restrictions. The lithium chemistry offers a good balance of weight and energy. You will need to charge it regularly to maintain your 12.5-mile range. This feature is essential for travelers who need a portable and airline-friendly power source.

Before You Buy This Scooter
Owning this VERPAL K04 requires you to verify vehicle trunk dimensions before purchase. Its folded size fits many cars, but compact SUVs may need adjustment. You must also check airline policies for the 151Wh battery if you plan to fly. The 16.5-inch seat width suits average builds, so measure your hips to ensure comfort. Regular upkeep involves cleaning the aluminum frame and checking tire pressure for the 9-inch anti-slip tires. This model sits apart from heavy-duty scooters due to its 32-pound frame.
