Before you buy this SOFTFISH wheelchair
This transport wheelchair is built for short trips and daily mobility, not long-distance travel. You should verify that your vehicle’s trunk can accommodate the folded dimensions of 20.5 inches by 11.8 inches by 28 inches. The 16.2-inch seat width fits most adults, but you must measure your hip width to ensure a comfortable fit with the thickened cushion. Since the tires are puncture-proof honeycomb, you do not need to worry about flats, but you should still check the axle connections before each use. This model sits alongside power wheelchairs in our guide as a manual option. It lacks motorized assistance, so you need upper body strength to propel it. Clean the breathable non-slip cushions with a damp cloth. Store the chair in a dry place to protect the aluminum alloy frame from corrosion. This is a practical choice for caregivers who need a lightweight, foldable solution for hospital visits or local outings.
Check before you buy

- Measure your hip width to ensure the 16.2-inch seat is comfortable.
