Key specs explained for HomyKing
Seat Width: 20 Inch
This measurement defines the actual sitting surface width. A 20-inch seat provides more lateral space than standard 18-inch models. You will likely feel less cramped if your hips or thighs exceed typical widths. This extra room helps distribute pressure evenly across your seating area. It is a practical choice for adults who find narrower seats restrictive during long periods of use.
Overall Width: 23.6 inches
This is the total width of the wheelchair from outer wheel to outer wheel. At 23.6 inches, it is wider than many standard scooters. You need to ensure your doorways and hallways can accommodate this width. It allows for a stable base but requires checking your home layout. Compare this to narrower models if you have tight indoor spaces or small elevators.
Product Weight: 104 pounds
This is the total weight of the unit when assembled. At 104 pounds, it is a substantial piece of equipment. You will need assistance or a mechanical lift to move it into a vehicle trunk. The weight contributes to stability on various terrains. However, it also means the unit is not easily portable without help. Consider how you plan to transport it regularly.
Overall Length: 45.3 inches
This dimension measures the front-to-back distance of the wheelchair. At 45.3 inches, it requires adequate floor space for turning and parking. You should measure your living area to ensure it fits comfortably. This length supports a balanced center of gravity. It is longer than compact travel models. Check your garage or storage area dimensions before purchasing to avoid fit issues.

Before You Buy This Wheelchair
Before you finalize your choice, consider how this unit fits your daily routine. The listing notes a total weight of 104 pounds. This makes it manageable for assembly but heavy for lifting into a vehicle without assistance. You must verify that your car trunk can accommodate the folded dimensions of 45.3 by 23.6 inches. The 20-inch seat width requires a user whose hips fit comfortably within that space. Check that your home doorways are wide enough for the 23.6-inch overall width. Maintenance involves keeping the battery charged and checking tire pressure. This model sits alongside lighter, narrower options if you prioritize portability over seating room. It also differs from heavy-duty scooters if you need outdoor terrain capability. Ensure your power outlets are accessible for regular charging. This wheelchair suits those who value spacious seating and easy transport over extreme maneuverability in tight indoor spaces.
