Key specs explained
Total Weight: 36 lbs
This weight includes the aluminum frame and the 4.9 lb battery. It makes the wheelchair easy to lift into a car trunk or carry upstairs. You can handle it without heavy lifting equipment. Compare this to standard power wheelchairs that often weigh over 60 lbs. This low weight is ideal for seniors who need to travel frequently or store the device in small spaces at home.
Range: 15 Miles
The battery allows for a maximum travel distance of 15 miles on a single charge. This covers typical daily errands, short trips to the store, or a day out in the park. It is suitable for users who do not need long-distance independence. Check this against longer-range models if you plan to travel across large venues or drive for several hours without stopping to recharge.
Battery Type: 4.9 lbs battery
The power source is a lightweight 4.9 lb unit. This contributes to the overall portability of the 36 lb chair. It allows for quick folding and easy transport. You can remove it for charging if needed. Compare this to heavier lead-acid batteries found in some budget models. This lithium-style weight helps keep the chair manageable for one person to move.
Size: 38.9" x 24.4" x 36.2"
These dimensions define the footprint when unfolded and the height of the seat. The width of 24.4 inches fits through most standard doorways. The height allows for easy transfer from beds or chairs. The length ensures stability while driving. Measure your home entrances and vehicle trunk space against these numbers to ensure the chair fits your specific storage and transport requirements.
Design and Build Quality
The Biqissi wheelchair uses a lightweight aluminum frame, which contributes to its total weight of 36 lbs. This includes the 4.9 lb battery. The compact dimensions of 38.9 inches by 24.4 inches by 36.2 inches allow it to fit in most car trunks. You can fold it in three seconds for easy storage at home or in your vehicle. The carbon color finish is available, along with an orange option.
The control lever can be installed on the left or right side, allowing you to customize the layout for your dominant hand. The quick-response 360-degree operation includes five adjustable speed buttons. You also get horn and LED light controls. The ergonomic seat cushion is designed for comfort during longer rides. Adjustable armrests and foldable footrests help you get on and off easily. The small turning radius ensures smooth navigation in tight indoor spaces.
Safety features include an automatic braking system that engages when you release the control lever. The listing notes this deceleration distance is about 50 cm, depending on speed. This helps avoid inertia issues. The wheelchair also features anti-roll wheels and a seat belt. The foldable design and lightweight construction make it suitable for travel and seniors who need a portable option. The build focuses on practical transport and ease of use rather than heavy-duty outdoor terrain.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
The Biqissi portable electric wheelchair arrives mostly pre-assembled, which simplifies your initial setup. You receive the main unit along with a toolkit, charger, user manual, and an LED light. This means you can begin using it quickly without complex assembly steps. The design prioritizes convenience for daily transport and storage.
For everyday operation, the control lever offers flexible placement. You can install it on the left or right side based on your preference. The 360-degree lever provides quick response, allowing for smooth navigation in tight spaces. A small turning radius ensures you can maneuver easily indoors or in crowded areas. Five adjustable speed buttons let you set the pace for different environments, from quiet hallways to outdoor paths.
Safety features integrate directly into daily use. An automatic braking system engages when you release the control lever, cushioning and stopping the wheelchair within approximately 50 centimeters, depending on speed. This slow deceleration prevents inertia issues. The system also supports a 12-degree climbing ability, helping you handle mild inclines with ease.
Comfort is addressed through ergonomic design. The thick seat cushion supports long rides, while the 90-degree adjustable armrests and foldable footrests assist with getting on and off. You can tuck the footrest close to tables for dining or socializing. Additional safety elements include handbrakes, seat belts, and anti-roll wheels. The LED lighting system aids night travel and includes a port to charge your phone, adding practical utility to your daily mobility routine.
Before You Buy This Scooter
Before you add this Biqissi wheelchair to your cart, verify your vehicle’s trunk space. At 36 lbs, it is light, but the folded dimensions still require room. Check if your car’s liftgate height accommodates the 36.2-inch height when folded. You must also ensure your home doorways are wide enough for the 24.4-inch width. Regular maintenance is simple but necessary. Keep the tires inflated and clean the aluminum frame to prevent corrosion. This model suits seniors who travel often. It is not a heavy-duty daily driver for rough terrain. If you need a primary chair for long indoor use, consider a heavier model with more battery range. This unit is best for occasional trips or as a secondary travel companion. It fits alongside standard power wheelchairs as a portable alternative. You get a one-year warranty on key parts. Always read the manual for brake adjustments. Ensure you are comfortable with the joystick control before relying on it for safety.
