What stands out

- One-click folding mechanism in three seconds
- 12-degree climbing ability for small inclines
- 360-degree joystick with five adjustable speeds
Who it fits
Good fit for
This wheelchair suits travelers who need to lift their device into a vehicle. The 36 lbs weight makes it manageable for most adults to carry. You will appreciate the one-click fold for quick storage in tight home spaces. The 15-mile range covers daily errands and short trips. The adjustable armrests and footrests help users with limited mobility transfer in and out easily. It is also good for seniors who want a simple, responsive joystick for indoor navigation.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need long-distance travel. The 15-mile range may not suffice for all-day outings. If you require high climbing ability for steep hills, the 12-degree limit is insufficient. The compact 38.9-inch length might feel too small for users who prefer a larger, more stable base. Additionally, if you need a higher weight capacity than the frame supports, this model may not be safe. The limited speed options also restrict faster outdoor use.
Verdict: The Biqissi 36lb Lightweight Electric Wheelchair offers a practical, portable option for short-range daily use. Its light weight and quick fold make it ideal for travel and small spaces.
Biqissi Key Specs Explained
Total Weight: 36 lbs
This weight makes the wheelchair easy for one person to lift into a vehicle trunk. You do not need heavy lifting equipment to load it. This low mass is ideal for travelers who need to move the device frequently. It also simplifies indoor maneuvering compared to heavier standard models. Check this spec if you prioritize portability over maximum stability for rough outdoor terrain.
Range: 15 Miles
The battery allows you to travel up to 15 miles on a single charge. This distance suits daily errands and short outings. It may not support all-day use without recharging. Compare this range with other models to ensure it meets your typical travel distance. A shorter range is acceptable if you charge the unit overnight or at your destination.
Dimensions: 38.9" x 24.4" x 36.2"
These measurements define the footprint and height of the chair. The width affects whether it fits through standard doorways and hallways. The length determines storage space in your home or car. Verify these dimensions against your living space before purchasing. Compact sizes are crucial for users with limited indoor room or small vehicle trunks.
Color: Carbon Color
This option refers to the visual finish of the frame and body. Carbon color typically offers a sleek, modern appearance. It may hide minor scuffs better than lighter shades. This spec does not affect performance or comfort. Choose this color if you prefer a neutral, professional look that matches various interior styles or personal tastes.
Design and Build Overview
The Biqissi 36lb Lightweight Electric Wheelchair uses an aluminum frame to keep its total weight at 36 lbs. This low mass allows you to lift the unit into a car trunk without assistance. The listing notes that the frame folds with one click in three seconds. This quick fold mechanism supports easy storage in small spaces or during travel.
Its overall size is 38.9 inches long, 24.4 inches wide, and 36.2 inches high. These dimensions create a compact footprint that helps you navigate tight indoor areas. The seat features a thick cushion for comfort during longer rides. You can adjust the armrests to 90 degrees and fold the footrests. This layout makes it easier to get on and off the chair or place it close to a table.
Controls include a fast-response 360-degree joystick. You can switch between five speed settings using dedicated buttons. The controller can be mounted on either the left or right side, depending on your preference. The listing states that an automatic braking system engages when you release the lever. This feature helps stop the chair within a short distance. The finish is described as Carbon Color. This design choice keeps the look neutral and practical for daily use.
Setup And Daily Operation Details
The listing states the unit arrives pre-assembled. This means you do not need to spend time building the frame or installing the motor. You simply unpack the power wheelchair, the charger, the toolkit, and the user manual. The first step is to connect the charger to the battery to ensure it has power before your first ride. The package includes an LED light, which you can attach to assist with visibility during evening travel.
Once powered, daily use centers on the joystick controller. The listing describes a fast-response 360-degree joystick that allows for smooth direction changes. You can adjust the speed using five buttons, letting you match the pace to your environment. The controller can be mounted on the left or right side, so you can set it up according to your dominant hand. The armrests adjust to 90 degrees, and the footrest folds up, making it easier to transfer in and out of the seat.
Safety features are integrated into the driving mechanics. Releasing the control lever triggers an automatic braking system. The wheelchair cushions and stops within a short distance, which depends on your current speed. This slow deceleration helps avoid inertia issues. The unit also includes a horn and anti-roll wheels for added security. With a turning radius designed for small spaces, you can navigate tight indoor areas or crowded sidewalks with relative ease. The one-click fold mechanism allows you to collapse the frame in three seconds for storage or transport.
Before you buy this Biqissi
You should verify that your vehicle trunk can accommodate the folded dimensions of 38.9 by 24.4 by 36.2 inches. The 36 lb weight helps with loading, but the physical size still requires adequate space. You must ensure you have access to a standard electrical outlet for the included charger, as the listing notes a 15-mile range on a single charge. This range suits local trips but may limit longer excursions. Consider whether the 12-degree climbing ability meets your home’s terrain needs, such as steep driveways or uneven paths. You may want to purchase a separate carrying case if you plan to transport the wheelchair frequently, as the listing does not mention one. This model fits alongside heavier, more robust power wheelchairs by prioritizing portability over long-distance range. It is best for users who need a lightweight, compact option for travel rather than daily, all-day outdoor use. Check the joystick responsiveness and armrest adjustability to ensure they match your physical requirements.
Check before you buy

- Confirm your typical trips stay within the 15-mile range limit.
